Vaalplasie is our love story, born from a passion for travel and camping. In 2001, Christian and Gisela kick-started their journey on the Zebrasafari, a zebra-painted kombi trip across Africa to Germany. In 2006, Vaalplasie became our canvas near Parys, on the Vaal River’s banks. Here, we’ve crafted a dream—museum, Lazy River Roadhouse, Gypsy Motel, and a unique venue for gatherings, events, and our annual celebrations.
